Maison Martin Margiela’s Canvas Leather Boot Sneaker ($448) is a modern rendition of a classic shoe design. Taking the mid boot style to the next level, this shoe combines the unique characteristics of a Margiela boot with the durability and endurance of a sneaker. Aged canvas and brown leather trim provide the upper portion of the boot sneaker and a gum rubber sole supplies the bottom. Other notable details include a buckle ankle strap and an inner ankle zip. Mr. Hare 2010 Spring/Summer Footwear New Releases

Common Projects for Robert Geller Hiking Boots

Common Projects, the downtown shoe company best known for its sleek designs and gold-stamped numbers, created a fantastic pair of rustic hiking boots for Robert Geller’s Fall runway show. The rough, dark suede lace-up boots feature zippers on the instep and double buckles at the top. Thus far it seems like these were created solely for the show, but stay tuned for further developments if any type of release comes to light.
