From a very simple beginning, Flavio Girolami and Prathan Poopat’s Common Projects has been steadily playing with new colors, cuts and materials. This season, the sophisticated sneaker brand branches out into Arctic and Cowboy Boot shapes, while tweaking some old favorites with an array of details and finishing touches. First off, let me be the first to tell you these boots are FIRE! For Common Projects’ upcoming collection they’ve updated their key styles with new some colorways and finishes and added a few new styles including the striking “Arctic” ($525) hiking boot style pictured above. Check it out HERE
R&B star Trey Songz was spotted out wearing the ever so popular Oliver Peoples Daddy B Sunglasses ($325) and a pair of D&G denim jeans. He was also rocking Common Projects Achilles Sneakers ($408) from the Spring/Summer 2009 collection, which features a suede upper with patent leather toe cap and trim.
This Achilles Raw model from Common Projects is crafted from the finest Italian raw leather and to complement apparel from their Spring/Summer collection. Available in either a low or high form, the shoes feature familiar vulcanized rubber soles and gold number-stamping, as well as rough suede laces to complete the raw aesthetic. For Fall/Winter 2010 premium denim pioneers, Evisu, have teamed up with Common Projects to release an exclusive line of sneakers. Developed under the watchful eye of Evisu’s CEO/Creative Director, Scott Morrison, the line will include a low top and high top style in three colorways: Navy, White, and Black. Spring 2010 offers a variety of new colorway in Common Project’s 5-Hole Slip On. The shoes are featured in three color tones here, including white/yellow, white/red, and white/black.
