Reflecting the dark and light aspects of the Berlin-based label, Christoph Voy photographs this season’s lookbook, which features Izaio model Philip Yves with makeup by Steffen Seeger. Striking a delicate balance between fluid softness and an undeniable masculine soul, Butterflysoulfire designers Maria Thomas and Thoas Lindner take their signature silhouettes to the next level with a clever spring outing that manages to incorporate fur and leather. Maintaining a light progression with unexpected ingredients, Thomas and Linder craft a collection of loose silhouettes and a penetrating style that evokes romantic images of today’s nomad.
Mulberry takes on some fun for its fall 2010 advertisements shot by Steven Meisel. Featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw and Hanne Gaby Odiele, the duo isn’t afraid of a little mischief as they jump on beds and paint outside the lines.
The most recent lookbook from Dolce & Gabbana stars Vlada Roslyakova, Olga Sherer, Zuzana Gregorova, Regina Feoktistova, Kamila Filipcikova as women of sophistication in well-fitted gowns and tailored seperates. Representing the this season’s Dolce & Gabbana woman, each model dons a wide variety of animal prints, bold colors, florals and sheer black pieces that exude glamour and elegance.
Once again enlisting the help of photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Giorgio Armani creates a darkly romantic campaign with its fall 2010 advertisements. Starring Edita Vilkeviciute alongside Janice Fronimakis, the series showcases the label’s elegant pieces with a modern twist. These pieces are simply amazing! In one of many fall campaigns, models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karmen Pedaru and Patricia van der Vliet team up for the fall campaign from H&M’s Divided collection. Joined by male models Josh Beech and Bastiaan Ninaber, the girls give some serious attitude for Daniel Jackson’s lens while donning the range’s casual wear.
Watching over Joan Smalls and Raquel Zimmermann, Nikola Jovanovic plays the male lead in Gucci’s prefall campaign as lensed by the talented duo Mert & Marcus.
Made for the man on the go, a sense of urgency was felt at the latest show for Lanvin as textures reigned supreme. Dark, light and rushed together, the image of luxury was not a focus as ensembles of great interest and diversity came together. From sheer tops and knit vests to paneled outerwear, the Lanvin man took flight in an eclectic array that was difficult to unravel, but nevertheless engaging. Rounding off with chunky jewelery that possessed a certain ancient quality, designer Lucas Ossendrijver molded one of the best standout collections of the season.
